Ranch
Nestled in the bottom of the Grand Canyon, Phantom Ranch is perhaps the Park's most famous lodge. The only lodging facility below the Canyon rim and built in 1922, the rustic cabins and main lodge are built of wood and native stone. Rooms are dormitories or rustic cabins. Phantom Ranch is accessible only by mule or hiking. Food is available, and reservations may be made up to 13 months in advance. Price: $30 and up, plus meals and transportation to the Ranch. |
